Faraway Farm’s alpacas carry the bloodlines of some of the country’s most sought after genetics, including offspring of Bueno, Royal Fawn, Hemingway, Caligula, Macusani, Vengador, Legacy Gold, Snowmass Invincible, El Senor and Danko. Every breeding is carefully chosen to improve and enhance the next generation of alpacas.

Afternoon Delight is a gorgeous bundle of fiber. Her fleece is extremely dense and crimpy. True to her name, she has a delightful personality and is a real beauty with her superb, elegant conformation. Delight has won top awards wherever she’s been shown including blue ribbons at Green Mountain Alpaca Spectacular, North American Alpaca Show and PAOBA.

Spruce Ridge Gypsy Rose

Gypsy Rose is a sweet, rose gray beauty who has top lineage, beautiful, soft fleece, excellent conformation and great fiber coverage. Rosie is 1⁄2 Accoyo. Her lineage includes: Vengador, El Senor, Auzengate and Chimbote. Her sire, El Senor, sold for $165,000 in 2006. Her fleece’s micron at 3 months old was 16.3 with a SD of 3.9. Rosie’s prize-winning fleece spins into some pretty spectacular yarn. She has won many ribbons including first place at the Empire Fleece Show.

Excelling in every show she’s entered, beautiful Marimba won four first place ribbons from her five shows and one color championship. Judges commented on the fineness, uniformity and incredibly soft hand of her maroon-colored fleece. Her dam is a daughter of MFI Peruvian Jericho and granddaughter of 5 Peruvian Camelot and her sire is My Peruvian Obsydian. Clearly, she has garnered the best from these awesome bloodlines.

Zofia is a beautiful young female with richly-colored, bright crimpy fleece. She is as sweet as she is beautiful. Zofia's sire, Apollo, is a full Peruvian son of Accoyo Peruvian Felix, and grandson of Royal Fawn, who sold for a record breaking $600,000. Zofia's first cria is a stunning dark-brown girl sired by Archangel's Malachi. Nikiya has exceptional fleece and is a wonderful example of the crias that Zofia can produce.

Aladdin has incredible fleece! It is an exquisite color, crimpy and extremely fine. He’s a big-bodied, well-built young man and we look forward to taking him in the show ring. At his first show, Aladdin won first place. The judge called him “the complete package.” She commented on his beautiful, soft crimpy fleece, his big-bodied conformation and his wonderful head and topknot.

Diego has gorgeous, copper-colored fleece and perfect conformation. His father, Peruvian Zegna is ½ Accoyo and ½ Allianza and is known for his incredibly dense, fine fleece. His dam, Aphrodite, a multiple blue ribbon winner, produces award-winning crias every year. Diego has won multiple show ribbons. Judges like his rich, dense fleece and his outstanding conformation. Diego shows great promise as a future herdsire.

Judges comment on the incredible fineness and softness of his fleece.
